For already five years , le Prieure de la Chaise has organized a show which recalls the life of the people of Saint-George sur Cher and the surrounding villages from  the medieval time until nowadays.

This year, our new spectacle will be held from August 10th to 14th.

This former priory (a 16th century manor) is located in the heart of the Loire Valley close to many of the castles (Amboise, Blois, Chambord, Cheverny, Chenonceaux, Loches, Montpoupon, Azay le Rideau). It formerly housed the Priors and was part of the Benedictine abbey of St Julien de Tours.

Le Prieure de la Chaise is set in extensive grounds and has a 12th century listed chapel still used noawadays for church sevices.

Le Prieuré de la Chaise

You will be received for one or more nights at le Prieure de la Chaise where four rooms were arranged for you . You will stay in a calm and you will be able to visit The Loire Valley. The Breakfast is included in the price of the night.

Many other services are also proposed (wine tasting, hiring of bicycles, swimming pool…).
